Wellkin Child & Youth Wellness is an outpatient community mental health centre that serves children/youth (0-18) in Oxford and Elgin Counties. Their mandate is to provide assessment and intervention services that will improve the cooperative, emotional, and behavioral well-being of children and adolescents who are referred to them. This includes both direct services to clients, indirect assistance to caretakers and other significant figures as well as public education, prevention, and consultation services to the community at large. Funding is provided by the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
