A service club dedicated to the promotion of programs and projects to benefit area youth. The club sponsors and supports a wide range of youth service projects: Optimist Oratorical and Essay Contests, Canadian Children's Optimist Foundation, Bravery Beads,Optimist International Junior Golf Championship, HOBY Leadershipseminar, Conductive Education, the annual Optimist Santa Claus Parade which is typically on the second last Saturday night in November. Every two years we provide the Optimist Children's Festival held in the Optimist Park in St. Thomas
Meetings 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from September to June.
